Will qualifies No. 3 in IHRA debut at Norwalk
NORWALK, OHIO (August 26, 2006) -- In her first opportunity to race in the IHRA eMax Drag Racing Series, Hillary Will drove her KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Top Fuel dragster to the No. 3 qualifying position at the IHRA Skull Shine World Nationals at Norwalk Raceway Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
Her best of three qualifying passes was a run of 4.643 seconds at 322.11 mph, which Will ran in "Friday Night Thunder," yesterday evening.
In eliminations tomorrow, Will, who now lives in Ypsilanti, Mich., _faces Rick Cooper, who qualified No. 7 with a pass of 4.693 seconds at 316.08 mph._
Will begins her quest for the IHRA Skull Shine World Nationals Top Fuel title tomorrow, August 27, with eliminations for Top Fuel scheduled to begin around 12:15 p.m. All times are local Norwalk, Ohio time and subject to change at anytime.
