Zhou is the first man to beat Magnussen, going top on a 1m12.641s as Bottas goes slower than Schumacher in fourth.
Magnussen puts the first time on the board, a 1m12.680s, which Schumacher is unable to beat despite going faster in the first sector. Albon slots into third ahead of Latifi.
Who will be first to blink? The answer is Kevin Magnussen, who is followed out on track by Haas team-mate Mick Schumacher.
And we're underway for qualifying at Zandvoort.
No risk of rain for this session. Track temperatures are a toasty 39.0 °C.
There's a cracking old atmosphere building in the grandstands. Three minutes to go.
Verstappen is, unsurprisingly, the only driver in the field with a Dutch GP pole to his name from 2021. But like the Red Bull ace, who won the F3 Masters at the Dutch track in 2014, Hamilton and Bottas have both tasted success at the circuit in junior categories. Mercedes man Hamilton won the Masters in 2005, while Bottas took back-to-back wins in 2009 and 2010.
Incidentally, Leclerc and Verstappen both have 16 career poles to their name. If either of them take the top spot in qualifying today, it would see them level with three-time world champion Sir Jackie Stewart in the all-time stakes. Of the current grid, only Lewis Hamilton (103), Sebastian Vettel (57), Fernando Alonso (22) and Valtteri Bottas (20) have more.
Should Leclerc nab the top spot in qualifying, it would be an eighth of the season for the Ferrari man and put him just one away from matching his tally from the entirety of his career prior to 2022. He managed nine poles between 2019 and 2021, seven of them coming in his first season with the Scuderia.
Charles Leclerc topped this morning's FP3 session, and also led the way in FP2 yesterday. But his advantage over FP1 pacesetter George Russell in FP3 was a miniscule 0.066s in the dunes. It looks set to be a close-run thing, with both eager to claim the all-important pole at this high-speed, twisty venue.
