Rubens Barrichello: 3rd, 1m 20.623, 32 laps, chassis no. 202

Jean Todt:
"Today, as usual we concentrated on setting up the cars for the race. Both drivers used just one set of tyres each. We are happy with the handling of the cars. As we know, the Montreal track is very tough on brakes and we had a trouble free day today. Tomorrow, the battle for the places on the front two rows should be very close."

Michael Schumacher:
"It was the usual Friday routine. We did a lot of laps and made several set up changes and worked on all aspects of our performance. The day went well and I am very optimistic for the next couple of days. The circuit is much better than last year in terms of improvements made on the safety side and on the surface of the track itself."

Rubens Barrichello:
"I like this track a lot. I am happy with the way we progressed through the day, with every change we made producing the expected result. Brakes are very important here and I am pleased with their performance today. The car is very well balanced. Friday's result doesn't mean very much but I am sure it will be very tight between us and our usual rivals tomorrow."
