Tyre testing for Giancarlo on his last day at Jerez, while Franck did R&D work before wet tyre testing this weekend.
The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team completed the first phase of its Jerez testing today, concluding three days of dry running at the Spanish circuit. Giancarlo Fisichella conducted a chassis development programme during the morning, comparing the two available cars, before conducting endurance tyre testing.
Franck Montagny's work concentrated on ride and handling, for research and development purposes. Tomorrow, Franck will begin two days of wet tyre testing in a single car.
Christian Silk, Chief Test Engineer:
"Giancarlo concluded his week with a very productive day's work: he made up some of the time we lost yesterday. Franck also did a solid job, and will continue working on wet tyres over the weekend. We have completed 2155km this weekend: it was a productive session that has produced some promising results."
