According to the Brembo engineers the hardest braking point on the Shanghai International Circuit it’s approaching turn 14. The drivers decelerate here by 250kmh, releasing 2,636 kilowatts of energy. They’re exposed to forces of 6.08G as they push down with 162 kilograms on the brake.
