BRNO: WEEKEND MARKED BY RECOVERIES FOR STEFANO COLETTI

Stefano Coletti's weekend, fourth round of the World Series by Renault 2010, has been marked once more by a recovery .

The young talent from Monaco started positively his weekend on Friday by ending the first free practice with the second fastest time (1:43.955) right before encountering some setup problems in the second session.

The same inconvenient emerged yesterday in qualifying and prevented the driver for team Comtec to go beyond the seventeenth time (1:44.518). The technical interventions decided in the briefing with engineers produced the hoped results and the race saw again a great Coletti able to recover position after position until the ninth place under the chequered flag.

The same competitiveness has been confirmed this morning too with the third fastest time in the second round of qualifying (1:41.568), which was unfortunately vanished by an off track excursion in occasion of an overtaking trial on Filip Salaquarda. Started again from the last position, Coletti did not give up and started to push hard recovering up to the twelfth final position.

Stefano Coletti:
"We harvested less than what our performances deserved and, even if overtaking made my races thrilling, I would have definitely preferred obtaining stronger results for the classification. Fortunately the championship is still long and we will have the chance to express all our competitiveness in two weeks time at Magny Cours".
