Celso Miguez, the young Spaniard ace, is setting the pace during the World Series Light collective test held here at the Circuit Nevers Magny-Cours. One more session is yet to start at 17h15.

RPM Racing has created this new single-seater category, normally included in the Superfund World Series by Nissan race weekend. The Dallara chassis and the 250 HP AER engine have set another performance Series at a very affordable cost.

As the winter test did not exist, the things are progressing quite well and peaceful although the drivers must employ valuable time in the overall car understood.

The Teams concentrated today in search of the best Qualifying set-up for Saturday. Celso Miguez has been the quickest driver in the first two sessions although all of the teams will use the one to go session to put the new tyres. The drivers of the top team Epsilon by Graff followed Miguez, Milos Pavlovic and Julien Vidot.

Celso Miguez: "Finally happy with the performance of the car. Everything is quite and peaceful by this time. Maybe we keep the tyres for tomorrow."

Milos Pavlovic: "We are happy by now. We carry out a very intense program, as we had no winter testing at all. Now we have understood better the car. It's all OK."

Julien Vidot: "We have completed the scheduled program. This afternoon we will concentrate in the times".

After a light shower the track conditions did change by slowing the lap times. Milos Pavlovic commanded strongly followed by his teammate Julien Vidot and the Spanish driver Alvaro Barba.

Besides the absence of Chanoch Nissany (the driver will compete in Hungary this weekend), Ananda Mikola could not take part in the afternoon session due to an engine failure.

Football backs three drivers in the World Series Light

Three different Football Clubs are backing some of our drivers here. The PONTEVEDRA F.C. sponsors Celso Miguez's car, while the Milan backs the Indonesian Ananda Mikola in RC Motorsport, as well as the Shandong Luneg Taishain colours bright in Julien Vodot's car.

Milka Duno, lady & driver

28 year-old lady Milka Duno (www.milkaduno.com) is been working strongly with Vergani Racing since three years, trying to adapt from the Le Mans Series type of cars to the accurate single-seater racing. Milka Duno showed her progress in the last meeting held at the Eurospeedway-Lausitz by achieving her best result so far. Exiting from the pits, she managed to finish in 6th position. . Duno started the morning session with a bright new engine after it failed in the last race.
