Positive feelings for Gilardoni after Barcelona's collective tests

The first two days of pre-seasonal collective tests of BMW Europe 2009 finished yesterday at Barcelona.

Kevin Gilardoni, at his debut on the demanding circuit of Montmelò, focused mostly on getting acquainted with the single seater nevertheless his lap times constantly improved.

The tarmac was wet at the beginning of the session of both days due to the rain fallen overnight, conditions that allowed Gilardoni to test for the first time, even for a few laps only, the reactions of car on limited grip conditions.

"I like a lot this track" declared the yound driver "but this championship will be really tough for me since I will have to learn a lot of tracks on which I never raced before while fighting with really high class rivals. Fortunately, though, quite a few testing sessions have been scheduled before the season opener and I will be on track again this Wednesday at Monza".
