Back on a real track
Next weekend Gp2 Series will race in Silverstone, the place where fiftysix years ago Formula 1 took its very first start. And for the first time Trident Racing will take the start in Silverstone, which is considered an honour by everyone in the scuderia. After the Montecarlo toboggan it is a comeback on a real track in the home of motorsport . As stressed by our drivers.
Gimmi Bruni # 26
"In the beginning of my career I lived near Silverstone for a
couple of years, consequently I consider it as my third home circuit. It
is a nice fast track where the weather can suddenly change and where the
public is particularly competent. Then I believe England must be
considered the land of singleseaters racing. Considering all the above
for me racing in Silverstone is always special".
Andreas Zuber # 27
"After the Monaco streets we come back to normal racing in the
countryside. But this does not mean that Silverstone could be an easy
place to face. For both technical and historical reasons, the English
track is a place a driver must pay respect to. So if gaining points in
Montecarlo has been great, a podium finish at Silverstone should be
fantastic. I am seriously intentioned to try it".
