The extraction team from MDD Motorsport demonstrates the full process of removing a potentially injured driver from a Formula E car. As well as considering potential head or spinal injuries, the medical team also needs to work safely around a wrecked car that's carrying a lot of electricity. Before every race, the team practices extracting a driver from a "red car", i.e. a car that's carrying a strong electric current.
