The Drag Racing List Online website, in association with Amazon.com -- "the world's biggest bookstore," has launched "The Drag Racing Bookstore" on the World Wide Web. The website, located at http://www.draglist.com/amazon.htm, was designed as a convenient place for fans to order hard-to-find drag racing and hot rodding books, videos, and even audio compact discs and cassettes. Website publisher Bill Pratt included every possible drag racing or hot rodding title from the extensive Amazon.com library, a total of 191 individual listings.
Some titles are available for immediate delivery. Others--dating from the 1950's to the 1990's--may be ordered even if they are backordered or out of print. Amazon.com will search for the ordered items for up to six months, and will notify the fan when the item has been found. The website hopes to provide a means for racing fans to obtain rare drag racing and hot rodding books.
Amazon.com will be responsible for all customer service, including payment processing, ordering, shipping, order status reports, and returns of any kind.
