No. 35 Ian Global Shipping TPC Racing Porsche Heads to Barber
BALTIMORE, Md. (July 26, 2006) -- The No. 35 Ian Global Shipping TPC Racing Porsche GT3 will compete in round 11 of the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve Porsche 250 this Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park, just outside Birmingham, Alabama.
The team is hoping to build on a 12th place finish at Mid-Ohio and a 9th place finish at Daytona last month. Rolex 24 At Daytona GT winner Spencer Pumpelly is expected to share the No. 35 Ian Global Shipping TPC Racing Porsche GT3 with Todd Hanson.
"The No. 35 Ian Global Shipping TPC Racing Porsche ran really well at Daytona," said TPC Racing Team Owner Michael Levitas. "We earned our highest finish of the season and that should give Spencer (Pumpelly) and Todd (Hanson) a lot of momentum heading to Barber."
