FERRARI'S TO LEAD THE FIELD AT ROAD ATLANTA
Ferrari's will share the front row when the NAPA Auto Parts Grand Prix of Atlanta gets underway Sunday. Spain's Fermin Velez led all qualifiers at 1:09.640 (130.27 mph) for the Professional SportsCar Racing event.
Andrea Montermini of Italy will start alongside Velez when the green flag flies on the 2.52-mile road course. Montermini's best lap was 1:09.976 (129.64 mph) in Saturday qualifying. James Weaver and Eliseo Salazar will start third and fourth, respectively, in the World SportsCar class for the two-hour event.
Martin Snow will lead the field of GTS-2 cars in Sunday's race, while Henry Taleb won the GTS-3 pole.
Stu Hayner will leave the grid first in the Exxon Supreme GT Series race, a two-hour stand-alone preliminary event.
