NA-F2000: Mid-Ohio practice two notes

Friday Practice 2 Notes at Mid-Ohio

- The second and final practice session gets underway in the mid-afternoon, under sunny skies.

- Like the first practice session, the majority of the field has gone out on sticker tires.

- A number of the drivers appear to running with their teammates on track.

- Early in the session, practice is halted when No 97 Hodges goes off-course in the Keyhole and becomes stuck. No. 35 Crean and No. 58 Chu have also gone off-course.

- No. 35, No. 58 and No. 97 have all been given a two and half minute penalty for causing the session to be halted.

- Late in the session several drivers have posted quicker times then in the morning practice session.

- Qualifying for Race One of the doubleheader commences at 9:45 a.m., Saturday, June 28.

- Zetec Championship alumni running in other classes over the weekend include Guy Cosmo and Mike Borkowski racing Daytona Prototypes in the Rolex Series, as well as Andy Lally, Mike Johnson and Robby McGehee racing Sport Touring in the Grand-Am Cup.
