Open Telefonica Round 4 New drivers

Barcelona, Spain, 15 June.- Giovanni Anapoli (EC Motorsport), Paulo Alho (Scuderia Famá), Jerome Dalla Lana (Epsilon by Graff) and Philippe Benoliel (TCR Formax) will make their series debut this weekend at Albacete circuit. 22 drivers will be in the grid of the fourth round of the series, the last one in Spain before the tour in Europe with races at Magny-Cours, Donington Park and Monza. Italian Giovanni Anapoli was rookie of the year 1998 in Formula Barber Dodge and has also experience in Formula 3 and F-Opel. Portuguese Paulo Alho is currently second-seeded in Formula Novis by Ford and Frenchman Jerome Dalla Lana was fifth and best rookie in Formula Renault in 1997. Also from France, Philippe Benoliel was the French champion in 1996. He has already lapped at Albacete. He was fifth in a Formula Renault race in 1997.

Farewell to Spain, series around Europe

The Open Telefonica will visit after Albacete circuits in France, England and Italy. Magny Cours, Donington Park and Monza will surely decide the series 2000 champion, because there will be only one Meeting left in Spain: the last one at Valencia.
