Vallelunga Durango Benetton qualifying

6th row for THE Durango Benetton Junior Team

3 months after having taken its first pole position the Durango Benetton Junior Team qualifies Michele Spoldi and Andrej Pavicevic 11th and 12th.

The new team mate of Pavicevic: Spoldi (who began the F.3000 season with the Sighinolfi team) set a time of 1:05.722, after a good performance during the free practice where he had the 2nd position. The changed and different conditions of the track didn't allow the driver to improve his qualifying lap time.

Michele Spoldi: "I like this car : it is well balanced. This afternoon we have made some modifications to the aerodynamics, but the track was very hot."

On 12th position will start the Australian man Pavicevic, who took the pole position at the first race of the season here at Vallelunga.

Andrej Pavicevic: "Obviously I have not qualified where I would have liked. I drove as fast as I could, but I found a lot of traffic, as well. Position 12 is the end result. I look forward to a good race tomorrow."
