TULSA, Okla. (April 25, 2007) -- The American Small Car Series, ASCS2, kicks off its 2007 season with three classes of 600cc Micro Sprints in action at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, OK, this Sunday night.
Three classes of Micros will take to the 0x00bc-mile oval, including the 600cc Outlaws, Non Wing and Restricted "A" Class.
Sunday's card marks the first of five scheduled Sunday night ASCS2 events at Creek County Speedway this year, with other events to follow on June 3, July 1, August 5 and September 2.
The 600cc Outlaws will also be in action at Creek County Speedway for another pair of major week night events over the summer. The ASCS2 600cc Outlaws will join the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National series Sizzlin' Summer Speedweek event on Monday night, July 16. Then, one month later, the 600cc Outlaws will share the Thursday night, August 16, event with the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits Tour 'N Topless wingless 410-ci Sprint Car series.
There is an ASCS2-only practice session slated for Thursday night, April 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday night's racing action is set to go green at 7:30 p.m.
Creek County Speedway is located southwest of Tulsa off I-44 Exit 211, then 0.3 miles south on SR 33, then one mile west on US 66.
