ASCS Gulf South Region Schedule Adjustments
TULSA, Okla. (July 28, 2005) -- There have been some adjustments made to the remaining portion of the Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores American Sprint Car Series Gulf South Region 2005 schedule.
The event originally scheduled for Friday night, September 16, at Waco's Heart O' Texas Speedway has been moved back one week and will now be run on September 23. This event will kick off with the "B" and "A" Features which were postponed by rain from the July 15 attempt at Heart O' Texas. A full card will follow the makeup Features.
The next night, September 24, the series has added a date at Gator Motorplex in Willis, TX. It will be the Gulf South Region's second stop of the season at Gator Motorplex after debuting at the high-banked, 3/8-mile red clay oval on April 16, when Scottie McDonald picked up his first series victory.
The event originally scheduled for September 17 at Hot Rod Hill Motor Park in Bryan, TX, has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
