Concord: Davin Scites preview

Davin Scites is ready for Concord.

Mooresville, N.C. (Thursday, April 24, 2003) ASA Driver Davin Scites is ready for a night of good short track racing. Davin and the DSM crew are "Itching" for a victory at the Concord Motorsports Park!

After a great Race at the Houston Motor Speedway, and bringing home a 15th spot finish and leading 17 laps in the Texas 250, Davin and the John Michael Montgomery #06 Chevy are ready for a Victory at the Concord Motorsports Park for the third big show of the 2003 ASA season!

"We had an Awesome car in practice Saturday, and a good Qualifying run as well, I was pleased with where we started," said Scites. "This track was very slick, and my main goal was to stay out of trouble and come home with a good finish, and I accomplished both and was very happy," Scites said.

Davin and the DSM crew tested Concord Motorsports Park after the huge disappointment in Lakeland. They have made different adjustments, to make sure the #06 John Michael Montgomery Chevy would be ready for the track that Scites calls "His Home Track."

Scites ran 2 years in a row, at the Concord Motorsports Park in the NASCAR Late Model series and won on numerous occasions in Late Models as well as Legend cars! " I traveled for 2 years back and forth every Saturday to Concord from Wayne West Virginia, to race Late Models!" said Scites "I would get home about 4 or 5 the next morning and I would come sometimes by myself and have to find a crew when I got at the track,"Scites said "I like concord because I know the track well, and I look forward to racing here and going home with a good finish," Scites said

The BF Goodrich 250 will be televised live at 9:00 p.m. on the SPEED Channel.
