Mat Neely, RW Motorsports Score USAC Silver Crown Quick Time at 4 Crown Nationals
ROSSBURG, Ohio (September 23, 2006) -- Maverick Motorsports Marketing and Benic Enterprises would like to congratulate Mat Neely for scoring his first career United States Auto Club (USAC) Silver Crown Series Presented by K & N Engineering Fast Qualifier Award. Neely, piloting the RW Motorsports HG Engines and Testing-powered Beast chassis, has now locked himself into the 25th Annual Mopar Thunder at the 4-Crown National feature event.
Neely, who laid down a lap of 15.607 seconds, averaged 115.333 miles per hour at the famed high banks of Eldora Speedway. Due to the bad weather that has been moving through the area, what is typically a two day show has been shortened into a single day.
Neely is also piloting the 2B Racing Lucas Oil products machine during the sprint car portion of the Mopar Thunder at the 4-Crown National event.
