Christian Vann encouraged by Ricard test

Christian Vann and the Courage team finished a punishing 2 day test at the Paul Ricard Circuit satisfied with the result of being quickest overall.

Christian said "It was a heavy schedule of tyre testing and car development, and for us to be quickest has got to be a good sign, I feel the car could take pole position at Le Mans."

The team worked through several developments, always seeming to make

progress, and their quickest lap time of 1min 39.469 secs was 2 seconds quicker than the, up to now, all conquering Audi R8. Coupled to this was an impressive 313 kph top speed on the straight, just under 200 mph.

A final word from Christian "There's more to come from us and the car, so we are really looking forward to Spa" (the first round of the LMES championship on the 17th April.).
