After earning his 10th A-Feature win of the season on Wednesday night at Cottage Grove Speedway in Oregon, as well as setting a new track record in qualifying, that earned his five bonus points, Joey Saldana cut Donny Schatz's lead to 32 points in the World of Outlaws championship standings.
Schatz, who finished second at Cottage Grove Speedway, has 54 Top-10 finishes on the season, with 39 of those being in the Top-Five, while Saldana has 51 Top-10 finishes, with 33 of those in the Top-Five.
Danny Lasoski remains third in points, while Jason Meyers used a fourth-place finish on Wednesday night to overtake Steve Kinser for the fourth spot in the standings.
Daryn Pittman used a fifth-place finish to remain sixth in points, with Craig Dollansky seventh, Paul McMahan eighth, Jason Solwold ninth and Tim Shaffer 10th.
Terry McCarl moved into 11th in points after Wednesday night, with Jac Haudenschild just six markers behind him.
Kerry Madsen in 13th continues to lead the standings for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award. Sam Hafertepe Jr., who is second in rookie points moved back into the 19th spot in overall points on Wednesday night.
