Positive feelings from Brno tests
04/04/2007 - The two days long testing session held at Brno (Czech Republic) involving BMW Team Italy-Spain drivers and other protagonists of the WTCC concluded today.
Alessandro Zanardi and Felix Porteiro run constantly without any technical inconvenience, covering altogether a distance close to 800km. The performances of all 320si of official BMW teams were quite similar as proved by lap-times whereby all drivers concluded within small tenths. The BMW Team Italy-Spain will be involved again on track at the German track of Oschersleben on 16-17 of April.
Umberto Grano (Project Manager)
"I am satisfied on the whole: official BMW teams were all at the same
level, and all of them contributed together to the development of the
320si.
Porteiro had the chance to try some new solutions to pedals that will
allow him to brake with the left foot as he was used to do successfully
last year in GP2 series"
Roberto Ravaglia (Team Manager)
"We finished our programme without problems while scoring a lot of
kilometres. This will allow us to focus on performances during the
forthcoming tests at Oschersleben".
