A1 Team Switzerland ready to take on the world

A1 Team Switzerland heads to Brands Hatch this weekend for the inaugural race of the brand new A1 Grand Prix series. Team principal Max Welti is confident his fast, young drivers will be fighting at the sharp end all weekend.

The race at Brands Hatch is the first of an historic season that will run from September to April and visit five continents North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

A1 Team Switzerland's drivers Neel Jani and Sebastien Grosjean are both in confident mood after the team's pre-season testing at Silverstone and Paul Ricard when Jani was among the fastest drivers.

Max Welti, team principal, A1 Team Switzerland: "I'm proud and excited that two of Switzerland's fastest drivers will represent our country in this remarkable new racing series. We are feeling very confident after Neel set the second fastest time in pre-season testing at Paul Ricard.
