SEBRING, Florida - March 19 - The White Lightning/Petersen Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, driven by Jorg Bergmeister/Patrick Long/Lucas Luhr, now leads the GT2 class at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring by five laps over a surging J3 Racing Porsche of Nic Jonsson/Tim Sugden/Justin Jackson as three hours remain in this sports car racing classic.
During the last pit stop, the White Lightning Porsche added a quart of oil, but continue to run strong ahead of the GT2 field. The #45 Flying Lizard Porsche, with Darren Law/Johannes van Overbeek/Jon Fogarty at the controls, is now third after spending time in the pits changing brake calipers and solving a brake bias balance problem.
The BAM! Porsche of Mike Rockenfeller/Tony Burgess/Martin Jensen, was running third when the engine quit at the eight hour mark.
