Update on Ryan Dungey
Note from Tony Gardea: I've attached a letter from Ryan that was posted on his website, www.ryandungey.com, to update his sponsors and fans on his crash from last Saturday. Other than soreness, he was able to walk away from that crash without any major injuries! He is resting today and hopes to jump back on the bike tomorrow with plans on racing this weekend. We'll keep you updated on his progress for RedBud. Thanks for all the support!
Letter from Ryan:
I wanted to send a quick note to let everyone know that I'm doing fine and feeling well after my crash on Saturday at Thunder Valley. I went and got checked out at the hospital after the race and the doctors said other than bruising and soreness that I was fine and healthy! That was great news after that high-speed get off.
I plan on riding this week in hopes of returning to RedBud next weekend. I want to first congratulate my teammate Nico for getting his first podium on Saturday and to thank Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki for being behind me through thick and thin. We have a great team and I'm proud to be a part of a great group of hard working guys!
Thanks to everyone who called, text and emailed to check in on me. The support us racers receive from the fans is amazing and makes me feel good about our sport!
I'm already looking forward to getting back on the track next weekend!
