Kansas: Todd Bowsher preview

When Todd Bowsher and the GFS Marketplace Team head to Kansas Speedway this weekend for the Kansas Lottery $200 Grand ARCA ReMax Series event, you can bet the odds may be extreme but it's nothing this team hasn't been up against before. In two out of the last three races at Kansas Speedway the Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports Team has had 24th, 15th and 26th place finishing positions, they're looking to beat those odds on Saturday.

After cutting down a tire and getting caught up in a wreck at Lowe's Motor Speedway last week, the GFS Marketplace Team is more focused than ever. Todd and the team are heading to Kansas with the mindset that if it begins with a "K" they know they can turn in a good performance. Thus referring to their strong 7th place finish at the Kentucky Speedway just a few weeks ago.

Todd says, " Kansas is a lot like Kentucky, and we were a contender there. Myself and my entire team are looking forward to this race because it is so much like Kentucky. We've put a pretty good package under this GFS Marketplace Ford and we're carrying it over to Kansas." Bowsher added, "I have to go back to that Kentucky test, we didn't just learn things about that track we learned what we need for Kansas too, and what adjustments we can use for this race."

The ARCA ReMax Series will have a 3 hour practice session at the Kansas Speedway from 1-4pm on Friday June 4. With Pork Pole Qualifying at 10:30am and the start of the Kansas Lottery $200 Grand at 3pm local time on Saturday June 5.
