Michigan Qualifying Results

With very little practice, and a back-up motor on board, the Kmart crew got Shawna Robinson out just in time to smash the ARCA 1-lap track record here today at Michigan Speedway, her career-first ARCA pole. Robinson, the second to last car to qualify, bumped rookie Ryan Newman off the pole with a speed of 184.606 mph. Newman was 2nd quickest at 184.573 ahead of David Keith at 184.195, Bill Conger at 182.635 and Kerry Earnhardt at 182.348.
