Rite Track Racing inks sponsor for Kentucky

West Chester, Ohio - Rite Track Racing (RTR) announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with WLWT Channel 5, the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, to promote the "Channel 5 - 155" ARCA RE/MAX Series race at the Kentucky Speedway on May 11, 2002.

RTR will enter two cars in the inaugural race with one bearing the Channel 5 and associate sponsor logos. Veteran local driver Jeep Pflum, will pilot the No. 5 Channel 5 Monte Carlo while series rookie Mike Burg will captains the second entry.

As part of the partnership, RTR and Channel 5 will host five promotional events in the month of April to support the race. Kentucky Speedway, along with country radio and Infinity Broadcasting sister station B-105 (WUBE-FM) also will participate in the promotional events.

RTR is currently signing sponsors for both cars and the promotional events. "This is a great opportunity for both local and national exposure," Steve Birdsong of RTR said Fans can see the RTR Channel 5 Monte Carlo in the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Parade on Monday, April 1.
