#37 Dexter Bean/Team GLOCK Racing Want to Turn Around the Season at The Rock
Dexter Bean and the #37 GLOCK Chevrolet are hoping to better their current 19th place position in the championship standings at this weekend's Carolina 500 at Rockingham Speedway in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Dexter and the Spraker Racing team tested at Rockingham Speedway on March 21st where they posted the second fastest time in the ARCA open test.
Dexter is confident about this weekend's Rock race, "This weekend is one of the biggest races of the year. We tested here back in March and were very successful, which should carry over to this coming race weekend. The track itself is going to make for a great race. You will see cars running multiple grooves at all different speeds. It will be a long race - patience will be the key to making it to the end. The place is tough on tires, but Jeff has a good knowledge on what to do with that issue. We have left all of our bad luck behind us and are looking at The Rock to rebound back."
Team GLOCK Racing will be displaying their hauler in the downtown Rockingham hauler parade that will take place at 12pm on Thursday, May 1st. That same evening, Dexter will sign autographs in the Thunder Fest autograph session at Harrington Square in downtown Rockingham.
The first practice session will take place on the mile long track from 2 5pm on Friday, May 2nd with the final session scheduled for 5-6pm on Saturday. SIM Factory Pole Qualifying for positions 1-25 will begin at 10am on Saturday with the position 26-41 qualifying session scheduled for 2:30pm that same day. The start of the Carolina 500 from Rockingham Speedway will be at 12pm on Sunday, May 4th (312 laps/312 miles) which will be televised live on the SPEED Channel at 12pm Eastern Standard Time.
