#32 ALEX BARRON, of Vista, Calif., is second fastest in the Lynx Racing-Victory Circle/Red Line Oil Ralt RT-41 at 204.336 - 117.205 mph.
#19 MEMO GIDLEY, of San Rafael, Calif., is third fastest in the Lynx Racing-prepared Ralt RT-41 at 2:04.422 - 117-124 mph.
BARBOSA’S time eclipses the previous track record of 2:05.654 - 114.600 mph set last year by current CART PPG driver PATRICK CARPENTIER.
Today’s top nine provisional qualifiers all ran under the previous track record.
BARBOSA’S previous best qualifying result was fourth at Cleveland in round six.
