Moran looks forward to showing Sigma Autosport's capabilities on Sunday.

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Sigma Autosport Toyota Atlantic team did not finish the day the way they hoped after a good morning session. Changes to the car were made with high anticipation, however the qualifying did not go as Rocky Moran Jr. expected.

The morning practice proved that the car's improvements from yesterday were right on track as Moran was happy with the car's setup. The day became sunny and warm, increasing the tracks temperature and speed.

Moran had a smooth run during the qualifying. Moran felt that going into the qualifying session he would be able to obtain a good starting position, but was a little disappointed with the end result.

Moran will be starting from the ninth position. He posted his fastest lap with a time of 79.069 seconds. Moran feels that the car will be fine for the race tomorrow and looks forward to showing what he and the car is capable of doing from his starting position.

Sunday's race, the second round of the Toyota-Atlantic Championship Series, commences at 10 a.m. The

race is scheduled for 32 laps and will be televised by SPEED Channel on a tape-delayed basis.
