Andor Capital Management: Andor Capital Management will grace the side pods of the #1 Swift this weekend in Montreal. The company also sponsored Hunter-Reay three weeks ago at Le Grand Prix du Trois Rivieres.
Something Different: Hunter-Reay will make his modeling debut this weekend as he participates in the launch of CART driver Alex Tagliani's fashion line "TAG". Hunter-Reay will be one of several drivers modeling at the Molson Indy Driver Party at the Medley Friday night. You can also catch the show on the "CART Friday Night" television program on Speed Channel.
Rookie Debut: This weekend's event will be the first time Hunter-Reay has competed on Le Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. He has attended the Formula One event in Montreal, and worked as a driver coach here for the Ferrari Challenge, but he has never competed on the famed circuit.
Hunter-Reay on Montreal: "I have been looking forward to racing at Montreal's Circuit de Jacques Villeneuve since I attended the Formula One race here last season when I was working as a driver coach in the Ferrari Challenge Series. Road America was our fourth DNF of the season and it effectively ended my fight for the Championship therefore my mindset here in Montreal is 'all or nothing'. The fact that no other driver has more race wins, poles, laps lead, fast times, or track records gives me real incentive to add to that tally and hopefully end the season holding the record in all the statistics even if the points may be out of reach. It's unfortunate that Roger's budget ran out because we were working very well together but I'm happy Ryan Dalziel has joined the team as it will allow us an opportunity to try different set-up's and get the car sorted before the race as neither of us has driven here before.
