EU3000: Draco day two at Vallelunga test notes

Vallelunga : The Superfund-Euro3000 common test ends in the rain

Today, 31 March, the free practices in Vallelunga ends in the rain. The 15 drivers engaged during the sessions can't improve their times.

During the morning, Draco J .Team decided to limit the kilometres, because the track, half dry and half wet,it was not interesting to test the cars.

Thanks the driving rain, this afternoon,Draco's engineers and mechanics made important analysis on the one-seaters performances on wet track. Big satisfaction for the laps of Fausto Ippoliti and Nicky Pastorelli, the only drivers to not leave the track. The Team Manager Manfredi Ravetto finishes the two days in Vallelunga declaring :"The tests made this afternoon were important to see the car reactions on wet, and the fastest lap of Fausto is the proof of a good teamwork.

Now we'll continue to perfect the cars in view of 2nd May, the first championship race."

These the words of Fausto Ippoliti : "I'm content with the today's work, my car is perfect practically .This afternoon I set the fastest lap in the rain : 1'26.537, but I'd have liked to test more. Mr Morini is pleased with my work, and I'm ready for the Championship".

At last, Nicky Pastorelli said : "Today the mechanics worked hard, infact my team-mate and me we are the only to keep the car on track, in spite of the rain. I'm satisfied with my results,I'll continue on this way."
