EU3000: Vallelunga test, day one morning notes

Coloni Motorsport s.r.l. Vallelunga: the new Formula 3000 season begins

The new Euroseries 3000 season officially began today on the Vallelunga circuit with the first test day organized by Coloni Motorsport.

The first driver to put on track the new Lola B02/50 with the 2007 aero kit was Team Minardi's Brazilian, Diego Nunez. Just after him, all of his colleagues turned their engines on, beginning an exciting battle.

At the end of the session, this morning's pacesetter was the Italian Davide Rigon (Minardi) with a best lap of 1.24.962, ending just in front of his team-mate Diego Nunez.

Elk Motorsport's Alx Danielsson was third fastest with a 1.26.288 time, followed by Team RC Motorsport's Italian, Olivier Martini, and by the South American F3 champion, Luiz Razia (FMS).
