After the most competitive race weekend of the season for both Team PSP drivers at Brands Hatch a week ago, the team is looking forward to consolidating its improving on-track performance at Donington, renowned for its high-speed corners.
David Leslie: "Donington is one of the greats for drivers and spectators alike. It's got a fabulous mix of gradients and corners, especially the Craner Curves followed by the Old Hairpin. I'm planning to stay out of trouble, string the laps together and get into the top six."
Phil Bennett: "I really enjoyed being able to push for position at Brands and look forward to more of the same at Donington. The chassis is working much better now so I can be much more aggressive on track."
Mike Carroll (race director): "We've already tested at Donington earlier this season so we have some good setup data for the new dampers. I hope we'll be mixing it with the Hondas and MG's again."
David Wong (team principal): "We've made good progress this season and established a good base with the current car. There are plenty of points to be won on the track so we'll be pushing all the way to the end of the season."
