Team PETRONAS Syntium Proton looks towards first test

Team PSP is looking toward the first BTCC official test on 14 March at Silverstone. David Wong, Team Principal, Team PETRONAS Syntium Proton said: "The first official test day is a big milestone for us, and the first time our new PETRONAS-backed works Proton Impian BTCC challenger will be seen in public. So far, progress has been good - the shakedown with Car 1 was on schedule and successful and we've spent a useful session with our Malaysian and British chassis engineers evaluating the suspension characteristics on a four-post rig. We've learned a lot and are now looking forward to some serious track time."

He continued: "The first time we take to the track with the other BTCC challengers will be a special day for Malaysian motorsport - and another step in our development as a serious competitor at the highest level."
