Phil Bennett (Car 20): 12 th, +1.814
David Leslie: "This was tough - I had to sit out second free practice this morning while the lads did a lightning-fast engine change. I'm confident we have a reasonable race setup and I'm looking forward to giving it my all tomorrow."
Phil Bennett: "It's strange to run in wet conditions after such a long dry summer and the track was tricky. I was pleased to get a good run with David's time so close."
Mike Carroll (race director): "The team pulled together well to change David's engine and get him out in good shape for qualifying. The setup looks reasonably good although the forecast is for a dry day tomorrow - but we're ready either way."
David Wong (team principal): "I'm confident our drivers will put up a strong challenge tomorrow for the team's last competitive outing in 2003."
