Szoke Is One Step Closer To Championship
Jordan Szoke claimed the pole for both rounds of Parts Canada Superbike and Pro Sport Bike races in this weekend's Parts Canada Superbike Doubleheader Weekend at Mosport International Raceway, July 9-11. He didn't have to run a single lap around the famous 10-turn road course. The Pirelli SuperPole was cancelled due to inconsistent wet-track conditions.
The starting grid for the weekend's races will go by the unofficial practice lap times recording by the riders on Thursday afternoon. Szoke had the two fastest unofficial times on from those sessions, his best being 1:20.829.
The Parts Canada Superbike Doubleheader Weekend continues on Saturday with warm-up sessions in the morning. The first races of the weekend begin in the afternoon, with the Pro Sport Bikes up first followed by the K&N Filter's Sports Twins, Pro Honda Oils Women's Cup, Parts Canada Superbike Feature Race, Honda CBR125R Challenge and the Armour Bodies Amateur Sport Bikes to wrap up the full day of two-wheel racing.
