Pro-Am: 2005 Division 1 schedule

2005 Mr.Gasket Pro-Am Tour Division 1 Schedule Announced

The IHRA competition department has released the 2005 Mr. Gasket Pro-Am Tour schedule for division 1. The series will feature 6 events from April through September, with the opening event at Maryland International Raceway and the season closer at Virginia Motorsports Park, both of which also host Hooters Series National events.

New to the mix in the Patriot division for 2005 is Kanawha Valley Dragway. This facility, that has been hosting division 3 events for the past several years, joins division 1 because of its location between divisions 1, 3 and 9. "Kanawha Valley provides a perfect race for division 3 and 9 racers to get an out of division claim, while giving division 1 racers in the southern part of that region another good race" said Skooter Peaco, Director of Racing Operations.
