Weather forecasts call for about four hours or more of rain tonight, ending by 10 a.m. Saturday. The rest of the weekend is expected to be partly cloudy or better.

Since the Funny Car session started, it will be completed as soon as the track is ready for racing tomorrow.

The first qualifying session for Pro Modified and Top Fuel competitors has been cancelled and will not be made up. For the second event in a row, racers in those eliminators will only have two opportunities to make the field for eliminations.
