Dates for Pacific and Japanese Grands Prix are subject to change. One may be move to the April 28. Circuits for Argentine and Portuguese Grands Prix are subject to safety inspection. There will only be 16 races on the 1996 schedule.

Qualifying will be a single one hour session on Saturday afternoon.  Each
driver will be allowed 12 laps.  Practice sessions will be as follows:
    Friday           two 60 minute sessions.
    Saturday         two 45 minute sessions in the morning.
    Sunday         one 30 minute morning warmup.
