Marc Gene:
"Unfortunately we were not able to carry out a significant amount of work today, also due to an engine problem that forced me to stop in the pit for almost half an hour. I have got a good feeling with my car and this is what counts for me: I have a steady car which has a good driveability on a circuit that I like. For tomorrow it is difficult to make some predictions especially because I don't know the margins of improvements of the other Teams. As far as Minardi is concerned, I believe there is a good amount of work still to be done but we can definitely improve."

Gaston Mazzacane:
"Given that this is the first time I've been driving on the Austrian track since I am in F1, it seems to me that everything was good. I completed more than 50 laps as we had scheduled and I tried different settings in order to improve the car set-up for tomorrow's qualifying. I feel pretty serene because we have worked well today. If I had put together my best intermediate times in the same lap I would have lowered my best timed lap further. All things considered, I feel confident for tomorrow's qualifying."

The T-car (chassis 01) is prepared for Gaston Mazzacane.
