Jenson Button has revealed he's made his mind up about which team he will be with next season and hopes to make an announcement after this weekend. Button has been in talks with a few teams and is expected to be replaced by test driver Fernando Alonso, although nothing has yet been confirmed.

"My mind is made up," Button said ahead of the French Grand Prix, adding that an announcement should follow soon. "It should be over the next few days really, hopefully after the weekend we'll sort of know where we are. It should be before Hockenheim."

Button has been linked with several teams, most recently with Sauber after a supposed trip to the team factory. "Did I go to Switzerland? I was very low on chocolate at home so I thought I'd go and get some," Button said wryly.

"There's nothing to be worried about. It's going to be positive for me whether it's here, there or wherever. In the next few days we should know where we are. There are other very good options out there, so I'm not worried or upset."

In today's press conference the questions inevitably turned to next year. Sauber's Felipe Massa, who has a further option with the team, said he hopes to stay on. BAR's Jacques Villeneuve said he would remain but team mate Olivier Panis said he was considering his options. Mika Salo confirmed he would stay with Toyota and Pedro de la Rosa is set to stay with Jaguar.
