The Orange Arrows team had a very good practice session today, with both drivers completing a superb number of relatively trouble free laps. Pedro de la Rosa and Jos Verstappen put the cars through their paces enabling the team to achieve a great amount of race set up information in the dry and hot conditions at the Canadian circuit. Jos completed the longest distance with 51 laps and his best time of 1:22.065 putting him in 12th position, with Pedro completing 41 laps with 14th position and a lap time of 1:22.176.

Pedro de la Rosa
Car No 18
Chassis No 3
Best Time 1:22.176
"It's been quite a good day although I had a small gearbox problem at the end so stopped. We tried all we wanted to try and as with any other Friday we followed the set up programme. The car is good on this track and the long straights so we're looking good for qualifying".

Jos Verstappen
Car No 19
Chassis No 4
Best Time 1:22.065
"I think we had a very good session and did a lot of laps so obtained a lot of useful information. We've just been changing the car to make it even better than this morning. Although the car felt good straight away we've still tried to improve it and tried a lot of different settings on wing and fuel so I think it was very useful and we're not looking bad for tomorrow".

Tom Walkinshaw, Team Owner
"We've done a lot of running today and are happy with the race set up, so hopefully this will show tomorrow".
