The Arrows Team was unable to cross the finishing line at the Canadian Grand Prix. Both drivers had to retire with transmission problems, Pedro de la Rosa on lap 22 and Toranosuke Takagi on lap 43.

Pedro de la Rosa: " I think its been a good race, the car was competitive, that's why I am so disappointed that I had to retire. There have been other races in then past where the car wasn't nearly as good as it felt today. Opportunities for us to do well will come again at future races, but we will have to work hard in the meantime to make sure that today's problems won't be repeated."

Toranosuke Takagi: " Its such a shame that I could not finish the race, as the car was fantastic to drive from the start. I took the opportunity to forge ahead after Pedro's retirement and was able to close the gap with the front runners, which was nice. After a very trying weekend for me I really had the feeling that I could do well in the race, but it was not to be."

Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim: " I share our driver's sentiments entirely. Both cars were very competitive during this morning's warm-up and the race but in the end reliability was not on our side."
