Fourth and final day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working once again today at the Monza circuit. Unfortunately, once again, rain was the main feature of the day, having fallen heavily overnight and for part of the morning.

This meant that Felipe Massa only ran after the lunch break, when the track gradually dried out. He continued with working on finding the best set-up on the F2007 for the forthcoming Italian Grand Prix, which takes place at this circuit on 9th September. By the end of the day, Felipe had covered 67 laps, the quickest in a time of 1:23.289.

With testing at Monza now completed, the Scuderia will be back on track on 5th September at Fiorano, for the shakedown. As usual, the task of driving the cars that will be used in the Italian Grand Prix will be entrusted to Luca Badoer.

Circuit: Autodromo di Monza - 5.793 km
Driver: Felipe Massa
Car: F2007
Weather: air temperature 19/22°C, track temperature 20/26°C. Rain and a wet track in the morning, improving in the afternoon with the odd sunny period, then clear skies.
