MF1 Racing adds sponsor partner

MAN TRUCKS TO PARTNER WITH MF1 RACING

MF1 Racing Midland's F1 Team is happy to announce its partnership with MAN Trucks for the 2006-2007 season. MAN Trucks, who already sponsor MF1 Racing driver Christijan Albers, have decided to support the team. It will supply the Silverstone based team with 10 brand new trucks. They will be delivered in the new colours at the beginning of 2006.

Colin Kolles, Managing Director of MF1 Racing said: "Everything is starting to go in the right direction. We try to build a strong future in F1 and this only works with the right partners. We are happy that MAN will supply the trucks to the team and that they continue to support our driver Christijan Albers. MAN is one of the leading truck brands in the world and they suit our ambitions."

This is why we decided to follow him again to MF1 Racing and support the next step in his promising career. Before we took the decision, we have been talking a lot to Colin Kolles, Alex Shnaider and his colleagues. MAN Truck & Bus B.V. is part of MAN Nederland, a subsidiary company of Pon Holdings - the biggest company in the Dutch automotive sector. MAN Truck & Bus imports heavy trucks and buses and operates closely with a network of 14 dealers, who run 35 sites. MAN trucks and buses are produced in Germany by MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG. MAN's contribution to MF1 Racing consists of 10 TGA 18.430 tractors, equipped with the advanced, 430 bhp D20 common-rail engine, automatic TipMatic gearbox and lightweight alloy wheels. The luxurious 5Star XXL-cabins radiate innovation and comfort. The 10 trucks will be utilised to transport the MF1 Racing Formula One cars and associated equipment.
