UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX IS SEVENTH RACE ON 2007 F1 SCHEDULE

INDIANAPOLIS, Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006 - The United States Grand Prix on Sunday, June 17 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the seventh of 17 events on the 2007 Formula One World Championship schedule released Aug. 29 by the FIA, the sport's governing body.

The ticketing program for the 2007 United States Grand Prix started Wednesday, Aug. 30 with a renewal period for existing USGP customers and the sale of three-day "Season Passes" for $60 to all customers. All other reserved seats will go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 1.

A North American F1 double-header again is on the schedule for the fourth consecutive year, as the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal is scheduled for Sunday, June 10. The French Grand Prix will follow the USGP on Sunday, July 1.

The 2007 season opens with the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, March 18 and ends Sunday, Oct. 21 with the Brazilian Grand Prix. The schedule, subject to approval by the World Motor Sport Council:

Existing USGP customers can renew their seats through Sept. 25. Ticket holders who renew by Monday, Sept. 25 will receive the official 2006 Formula One Season Review, a full-color book valued at $40, that recaps all of the exciting action of this World Championship season, including the 2006 USGP.

Current customers also can request a change in quantity and location of seats during the renewal period, with the IMS Ticket Office making every effort to accommodate.

New customers also can place a general request for tickets during the renewal period.

Renewing online at the Tickets section of www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com is the easiest way for fans to ensure they keep the same great seats for the 2007 USGP. Renewal customers should click on the United States Grand Prix banner within the Tickets section to log in to their account, and then follow directions to renew quickly and securely.

Tickets also can be renewed using a check or credit card with the Ticket Renewal Form mailed last week to all existing customers.

Customers from the 2005 United States Grand Prix who received two complimentary tickets to the 2006 race from Michelin can purchase those seats again for 2007 for the combined face value of $170. Interested customers should indicate either online or on the Ticket Renewal Form that they wish to purchase those seats and include the additional funds.
