Randstad Extend and Enhance Sponsorship
The AT&T Williams team today confirmed that it had entered into an extended and increased sponsorship agreement with Randstad Holding nv, a specialist in the fields of flexible work and human resources services.
Randstad has been a team sponsor since 2006. Following agreement to enter into a three year partnership with Williams F1 in January 2007, Randstad Holding nv has decided to consolidate its sponsorship activities following its merger with Vedior.
Frans Cornelis, Randstad's Managing Director, Group Marketing & Communications said, "We are very happy that we are able to enhance the efficiency of our marketing budgets by concentrating more on the platforms that have shown real value in relationship management and brand building, as our programme with the AT&T Williams team has demonstrated. This sponsorship offers opportunities in even more territories, like Australia, Singapore and Latin America, where we now have sizeable business interests following the merger with Vedior. Finally we applaud the efforts for the forthcoming season to stimulate the development of energy-recovery technology, as we think that this is of great importance for the future."
The new, extended agreement with the team will see the partnership lengthened for an additional term and will see Randstad promoted to the status of a senior partner, with cockpit side branding positions on the FW31 and multiple branding positions on the team and driver overalls, reflecting the company's core interest in the team's human inputs.
Commenting on this new agreement, the AT&T Williams Team Principal, Frank Williams said, "I am delighted that in the past three seasons we have worked successfully with Randstad and as a consequence they have increased their level of engagement with the team for the second time. I hope this reflects the real value the sponsorship can bring to their newly merged business."
